With furniture or most used items, a general rule of thumb is if a used piece is in GREAT condition it MAY be able to sell at half the original retail cost, if exposed to the right needs of potential buyers. This would require advertising in local newspapers, craigslist and showing it to a variety of people in your home until you find someone who'll make you an offer; usually NOT what you're asking.
When we sell furniture, we sell it for less in order to make a quick sale and profit. We have a retail store and all the overhead that comes with it so we have to make a reasonable profit. We ask you to kindly consider this prior to your conversation with our highly qualified furniture buyer.
